Howard University/Hospital is seriously committed to its mandate prohibiting discrimination in the workplace in accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the D.C. Human Rights Act of 1977, and all other applicable Federal or District laws or laws of any other jurisdiction where the University transacts its business. Accordingly, discrimination is strictly prohibited on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, personal appearance, sexual orientation, familial status, family responsibilities, matriculation, political affiliation, disability, source of income, or place of residence or business. Retaliation for filing, participating in or opposing a discrimination complaint is also strictly prohibited.
